Licensed Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking motivated individuals Licensed in North Carolina as LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCSW, LCSWA, LCAS and LCASA for both our Wilmington and Shallotte office. 


 Compensation:

  • We understand that some clinicians prefer stability of an employee/employer relationship therefore, depending on experience, we offer a Salary range between $54,000 and $65,000 yearly plus benefits.
  • For Clinicians would prefer to work as an associate for more flexibility, we offer a 60/40 split with Therapist receiving 60% of all income received for services rendered by that provider.

 Essential Job Function:

  • Providing and coordinating the assessment and reassessment of the recipient’s clinical needs.
  • Perform clinical face-to-face outpatient therapy services in either group or individual setting.
  • Perform intensive clinical and functional face-to-face evaluations of individuals with mental health, or substance abuse condition and determine if the individual meets target population criteria.
  • Assure clinically appropriate services are delivered to eligible recipients within the service definition (right person, right treatment, right intensity, frequency, and duration)
  • Completing the initial development and ongoing revision of the Outpatient Treatment Plan and ensuring its implementation.
  • Consulting with identified medical (for example, primary care and psychiatric) and non-medical (for example, DSS, school, DJJDP) providers, engaging community and natural support, and including their input.
  • Ensuring linkage to the most clinically appropriate and effective services including arranging for psychological and psychiatric evaluations.
  • Ensure that client information is kept confidential.
  • Monitoring and documenting the status of the recipient’s progress and the effectiveness of the strategies and interventions outlined in the Person-Centered Plan.
  • Provides feedback to the Clinical Director and Medical Director regarding services rendered.
