Jaquelyn Bell

I am Jacquelyn “Jackie” Bell, LCMHC, license # 1372. I hold a BS in Church Ministries, Masters in Mental Health Counseling and a Masters in Pastoral Counseling.

I have numerous years of experience working across a variety of treatment settings including: outpatient, community mental health, group therapy, and crisis services. I use the following in practice: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Person Centered Therapy. I believe in a strength-based approach to treatment.

Through my journey I learned that perspective is key. In life we will have troubles, situations and circumstances and how we view them will determine whether we will swim or sink. Swimming is always the best option, and I am here to throw you a life vest!

The thought of therapy can be intimidating and it's not for everyone, but I assure you that the experience with me be positive and gratifying. I will help you change your perspective on the issues you struggle with. Please schedule a session with me at your convenience. I would love to speak with you!

She has over 25 years experience as a practice administrator as well. She has spent much of her career in long-term roles within hospitals and outpatient specialty clinics, where she cared for individuals with a wide range of health needs.

Joan takes a calm, thoughtful approach to care, especially when it comes to managing medication therapy and helping people understand how treatment can support their mental health. She listens carefully, explains things clearly, and works side by side with patients to find what’s right for them.

In addition to her clinical work, Joan has contributed to medical research and reviewed international advanced practice nursing articles to help improve care standards.
