He was the Clinical and Administrative Director of the Maryland Physician Health Program for over 12 years where he worked with physicians and other health care providers with issues such as mental health, stress, distressed-behavioral issues, substance use disorder, and other problems that may impact their abilities to practice medicine in a competent and professional manner. Mr. Kwak has been recognized as a national expert in the field of Physician Health.
Mr. Kwak received his training at Johns Hopkins Hospital/University where he worked with a diverse population including faculty, staff, and students of Johns Hopkins where he also served as the Workplace Violence Protocol coordinator.
